$25/hour Job type: Full-time; some part-time opportunities The Mill at Thomas Winery is a family-led restaurant preparing to open in Rancho Cucamonga. Inspired by The Mill at the Kasteel in Oak Harbor, Washington, we are building a welcoming place to gather over good food. Our plans include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, a dining room, outdoor patios, and a bar. The menu, training schedule, and opening date are being finalized. Join the team that will help bring this new chapter to life. What you will do
  • Lead hands-on kitchen preparation and service for the opening team.
  • Train cooks on approved recipes, portions, presentation, and station procedures.
  • Coordinate order timing and communicate clearly with the dining-room team.
  • Monitor ingredient quality, storage, labeling, food handling, and kitchen sanitation.
  • Track prep needs, waste, and inventory; communicate purchasing and equipment needs to ownership.
  • Help establish practical prep lists, opening and closing routines, and consistent kitchen standards.
What we are looking for Restaurant cooking and kitchen leadership experience are preferred. Strong organization, practical food-safety knowledge, and the ability to guide a team calmly during busy service. Schedule and working expectations Primarily full-time, with some part-time opportunities. Specific shifts and weekly hours will be discussed during hiring. Interview hours are not the work schedule. Complete assigned opening and closing duties, follow safety procedures, and communicate respectfully with coworkers. Essential duties may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
