Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, and food presentation to ensure top-tier quality. Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and catering teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels while maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences, ensuring variety and excellence in every dish. Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service. Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness. Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct regular staff evaluations to promote professional growth. Experience Proven leadership experience as an Executive Chef or similar senior culinary role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment. Extensive banquet experience with the ability to oversee large-scale event catering successfully. Strong background in fine dining cuisine with excellent food presentation skills. Demonstrated expertise in supervising teams across various culinary disciplines including food production, catering, and restaurant service management. Knowledge of inventory management systems and inventory control procedures to ensure efficient food cost management. Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices that uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Familiarity with dietary department protocols and compliance requirements related to food safety certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent certifications preferred.
