Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef. This role is responsible for preparing high quality sushi items with consistency, speed, and attention to presentation while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards at all times. Key Responsibilities Prepare maki, nigiri, sashimi, and related menu items with consistency and speed Cook sushi rice and assist with simple hot prep as needed Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and labeled workstation Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards Support the kitchen and front of house team during peak service Help ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience Work evenings, weekends, and other scheduled shifts as needed Minimum Qualifications 1 to 2 years of sushi experience preferred Must be at least 18 years old due to the duties and legal requirements applicable to this restaurant location Strong knife skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Professional, clean, team focused approach Food Handler certification or HACCP is a plus Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por contrato
