Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining an organized kitchen workspace. This role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Assist in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control and food management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and handling. Participate in menu planning and development as needed. Assist with training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Familiarity with inventory control processes is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
