Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring all food meets quality standards. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain smooth operations. Manage food production processes, including inventory control, food handling, and portioning to minimize waste and optimize costs. Uphold strict food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. Assist in menu planning, catering preparations, and special event setups such as banquets to deliver outstanding service. Oversee kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance to promote a safe working environment. Collaborate with management on shift management, inventory management, and cost control initiatives to improve overall efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong culinary skills; banquet and catering experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a kitchen or food service setting. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Background in dietary department operations or food production is a plus. Ability to lead by example in high-pressure situations while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control, and kitchen management practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively. Pay:
$50,931.22 - $61,336.52 per year
