In this vital role, you will assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen activities, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service. Your expertise will inspire our culinary team, streamline food production processes, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality. Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining a positive work environment and developing team skills. Oversee food safety sanitizing procedures and ensure strict adherence to health regulations and standards. Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. Support menu planning and contribute innovative ideas for special events, banquets, and catering services. Coordinate shift management duties, including scheduling, training new team members, and ensuring smooth service flow. Monitor food handling practices and enforce proper hygiene standards across all kitchen areas. Requirements Proven experience in elevated casual environments with strong culinary skills in food production and preparation. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing culinary teams within a hospitality or restaurant setting. Knowledge of banquet experience, catering operations, and dietary department procedures is highly desirable. Familiarity with inventory management, cost control measures, and food safety sanitizing procedures. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to manage teams effectively. Experience in restaurant management or food service management roles is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
