Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admissions Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this brand new, customer service forward role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your energetic approach will help provide a warm, calming presence to assist in a smooth transition from the hospital to the facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient patient satisfaction and customer service in a dynamic healthcare environment. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit Ensure all beds are ready for new patients, including a welcome basket and welcome sign & assist in helping to get rooms ready when necessary Answer questions the patient or family may have once they are in the facility Complete admissions packets with patient/family if time permits Assist in mitigating and problem solving with nursing team for any potential issues with new admissions Requirements Be available Monday-Friday approximately 2pm-8pm Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person Team player- willingness to jump in and complete tasks as they come up Room for growth within the facility and other 11 facilities in Orange County area
