Job Description
Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club is seeking dependable, customer-focused Guardhouse Staff to help provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our residents, members, and guests. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors entering the community and plays an important role in maintaining security while delivering exceptional customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate entrance and exit gates while monitoring access to the community. Greet residents, members, guests, vendors, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Verify visitor access and follow established security procedures. Provide directions and answer questions regarding community amenities and locations. Answer incoming telephone calls and assist callers with general inquiries. Maintain accurate records by documenting incidents, irregularities, visitor activity, gate operations, and security equipment issues in the guardhouse log. Report security concerns or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Monitor gates and related security equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the community. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, veterans, customer service, or a related field is preferred, but not required . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations. Basic computer and telephone skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be dependable, attentive to detail, and able to work independently. Why Join Us?
