This unique hybrid role combines sommelier expertise, retail wine sales, restaurant service leadership, and luxury concierge-level hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wine, a proven sales record, and a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Provide expert wine guidance and personalized recommendations to restaurant and retail guests. Drive both retail and restaurant wine sales through exceptional product knowledge and relationship building. Supervise and support front-of-house team members, including servers, and cashiers Collaborate closely with our Maître Fromager to plan and execute weekly tastings, wine dinners, and educational events. Assist the Director of Wine Purchasing with inventory insights, customer trends, and event planning. Develop and maintain a loyal customer network through proactive outreach and outstanding service. Gather and communicate guest feedback regarding wine selections, machine offerings, events, and overall experiences. Ensure every guest receives attentive, polished, and memorable hospitality. Qualifications Extensive wine knowledge and a demonstrated history of successful sales performance. Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills. Strong listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events. Full-time position Preferred Qualifications Valid Driver's License WSET Certification or equivalent wine education References are required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
