Canine Concierge Pooch Palace Solon, IA Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Outdoor work experience Veterinary experience Attention to detail Dog handling Full Job Description Qualities we're looking for: upbeat positive energy reliable, self-motivated person with a high standard for cleanliness good problem-solving skills high attention to detail knowledge of dog breeds and their specific behaviors An ideal candidate is compassionate and fun, already has canine behavior or veterinary experience, is comfortable with a rambunctious group of dogs of all sizes and being outside in all types of weather , can lift ~50 lbs, and can handle frequent trips up and down stairs. Job duties include feeding and watering our boarders, assisting with check-in/outs, monitoring group play and keeping the peace, cleaning up the yard and any messes made indoors, giving baths when necessary, general cleaning, and of course loving on the pooches! Pooch Palace is located in a rural part of Solon, Iowa and because of our location it is a requirement to have a reliable car. We are currently hiring for a weekend concierge.
