Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality food service to residents in our assisted living and nursing home facilities. You will assist in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Your commitment to food safety and sanitation will ensure that our residents receive nutritious meals in a safe environment. This would be a part time position, in which you would be scheduled Wednesday-Saturday 4pm to 8pm. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage spaces Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Buss tables and clean dishes after meals to maintain a tidy dining environment Work collaboratively with the dietary department to meet the nutritional needs of residents Support the culinary team with cooking and meal preparation as needed Adhere to sanitation standards while performing cleaning duties in the kitchen Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal service Skills Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals is preferred Background in food production or the food industry is advantageous Culinary experience with knowledge of meal preparation techniques Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy meal periods Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities, including food handling and safety practices Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents and team members Knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning procedures within a kitchen setting Join us as we strive to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents through quality service and care.
