Full Job Description Description:
Park Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Healthcare Concierge to join our senior living community. This role serves as a welcoming presence for residents, families, and visitors, ensuring a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment. The Healthcare Concierge plays a key role in enhancing the overall resident experience by assisting with daily needs, coordinating services, and fostering meaningful connections.
Hours:
Every Friday:
4:00-8:00
PM Every Other Weekend:
Saturday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM-8:00

Key Responsibilities:
The ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor and pleasant manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation and comfort level working with seniors Effective multitasker, handling work orders, guest suite reservations, and resident accommodations efficiently Capable of managing and sharing information as appropriate to ensure resident needs are met in a timely manner Superior organization skills Adept at maintaining discretion and professionalism Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite software, and comfortable with computer systems
Requirements:
Have at least 2-4 years of experience in customer service/relations Must enjoy working with seniors. Have a desire to work with and make a daily difference in the lives of the geriatric population. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines Possess good public relations, communication, general office, clerical and telephone skills Must be independent and self-motivated. Responsible in assisting all staff to proactively ensure resident needs are met Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to relate well to residents and their families Have a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance. Be friendly, compassionate, and empathetic to all customers and prospects Preferred Skills Experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care settings Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with residents and families
