N amed America's Best Historic Resort by Historic Hotels of America , this upscale destination features championship golf courses, world-class spas, Vegas-style gaming, horseback riding and activities for kids. The Spa Desk Agent is responsible for day-to-day operations of desk including setting appointments, working Micros point-of-sale system, answering questions, creating gift certificates and ensuring cleanliness of the spa and locker room. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Resort's policies and procedures, Internal Control standards and objectives. Responsibilities for this Position Answers spa desk phones Sets appointments for guests and clients Ensures clients fill out intake forms Uses Micros point-of-sale system to ring up sales and keep track of bank Produces retail sales and processes gift cards Answers questions on spa treatments Keeps desk area neat Keeps locker room neat May create the player accounts within our system and issue player cards in conjunction with the Resort's rewards program Reports all issues and concerns to Spa Coordinator Performs other related reasonable duties capable of being performed as requested by management Requirements Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit Must be able to obtain and retain a valid gaming license Must be a minimum of 21 years of age upon employment Previous related employment experience Must have ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner Technical Requirements Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts Must be able to read, write and speak English Requires strong organizational skills Must be able to work independently Able to be on your feet for long periods of time Excellent people skills Meet/exceed customer expectations Computer experience strongly desired Must meet or exceed the team expectations Educational Requirements High school degree or equivalent Compensation Hourly wage Part-time availability Benefits Free Parking Low-cost Meals Matching 401k Profit Sharing We are proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer for minorities, women, protected veterans, disabled individuals, and any other protected class.
