Job Description
Hair by Mina, an upscale salon in Katy, TX, is looking for a front desk assistant to be the face of the salon and help drive our growth. This is more than a receptionist role — we want someone who takes ownership of the client experience and helps promote the business. What you'll do: Greet clients, manage check-in/check-out and booking/scheduling Actively sell retail products at checkout (recommend what the stylist used, promote current products) Keep the front desk and salon floor clean and presentable at all times Create daily content: 1 Instagram post, 1 TikTok, and 1 story post per day (client transformations, behind-the-scenes, product highlights) General support — answering phones, restocking, assisting stylists as needed What we're looking for: Strong communicator, comfortable talking to clients and pitching product Comfortable being on camera or directing quick phone videos for social content Organized, reliable, and takes pride in a clean, professional space Sales-minded — you'll be a key part of driving retail revenue
