In this pivotal role, our Lead Medical Concierge is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive welcoming environment for all patients, families and visitors while performing requested duties. These duties will include a professional attitude and neat attire, data entry patient demographics and financial information at time of service. Confirming patient appointments and explaining financial responsibility to patients or patient representatives, as well as collecting same-day payments at time of service. In addition, daily front desk coordination and scheduling of patient services, seamless team communications across departments and all modalities. Your passion for patient care and guest relations will drive memorable experiences, foster a welcoming reception and support the overall success of our team. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to connect with diverse guests and enhance service delivery. Duties Demonstrate the company's values in daily activities Greet patients, families and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner Ensure the accuracy of patient data entry in Athena EHR Prioritizes tasks via Athena to support current and future patient appointment needs- specifically fixing any errors in appointment entry Engages customer needs and preempts needs for later services Supports walk-in and physician offices scheduling calls directly to EverVita Participates in Payment collects at time-of-service and works with Head of Operations to reach monthly goals Schedules and confirms walk-in diagnostic exams and procedures Completes CD burning for patients requesting medical records Communicates to Head of Operations on any patient concerns of financial responsibility
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols Knowledge of EHR systems, preferrably Athena Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and saftey guidelines Knowledge of basic level computer skills Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion Skill in written and verbal commiunication Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a growing pace environment and meet established deadlines Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change Ability to effectively handle details with accuracy Ability to maintain regular attendance and on-time approval to work as scheduled Ability to deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassion Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level Ability to maintain and remain calm in difficult situations
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required At least 1-5 years of office experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred
Physical Requirements:

Pay:
$17.50 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
