Job Description

Description Empire Eye is a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice. We are seeking a Patient Concierge to join our team. Our Company is nationally recognized, with vast clinical experience in a wide variety of eye surgical services, advanced technology, and proven results. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying demographic and financial information, completing patient registration in the EHR system, and collecting detailed medical histories. Provide patients with accurate expectations regarding exam visits, coordinate care with other services, triage calls to clinical staff, and manage documentation and follow-up. This will be a Hybrid position to include some of the Patient Services Representative duties. Provide exemplary customer service for our patients Patient check-in and out, answering phones Insurance referrals Processing patient paperwork as required Completing patient registration by obtaining consent for medical care and financial agreements Coordinating care with other services Providing information about services Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum one (1) year of general office experience in a healthcare setting, Ophthalmology preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite Demonstrate excellence in communication skills and the ability to convey ideas and information, verbally and in writing Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
