Position:

Marketer Job Summary Primary Responsibility is to ensure that every referral is processed and reviewed in a timely manner and that every admission is accomplished by providing a smooth transition from the hospital, community or other setting. Serve as the communication conduit between and among departments on every referral and every admission. Assist in positioning the skilled nursing location as a leader in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care with the goal of contributing to build and grow census and quality resident mix. Accountable to the corresponding Administrator and Marketing Director. Essential Job Functions Every effort has been made to make your job description as complete as possible. Resident Rights Know and respect residents' rights. Ensures all protected health information is kept confidential. Reports all complaints made by residents to supervisor Reports allegations of resident abuse, neglect, and/or misappropriation of resident property. Safety and Sanitation Follows established safety policies and procedures. Ensures potential safety/health hazards are eliminated. Wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies when indicated and properly trained to use. Demonstrates job-specific knowledge of fire and disaster preparedness during drills or actual situations. Reports allegations of patient abuse, neglect, and/or misappropriation of patient property. Staff Development Attends and participates in scheduled in-service training, educational classes, and meetings to maintain current certification as applicable and managed by regulatory agencies and company policies. Attends and participates in in-service training as mandated by regulatory agencies and company policy. Participates in QAA process as needed. Sales Responsibilities Regularly spends time as needed in sales. Maintains a thorough knowledge of the center's products and services, acuity capabilities, and physician relations. Qualification Sales experience, preferred in health care services, products, or pharmaceuticals. Bachelor's degree preferred. Considerable experience in a comparable position will be considered in lieu of degree.
