Responsibilities Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from taking to fulfillment, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy. Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols, including proper food handling and kitchen sanitation practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, ovens, and other appliances necessary for food preparation. Ensure timely food preparation during peak hours by practicing effective time management skills. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong food handling skills along with understanding of food safety regulations. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Proven customer service experience with a friendly attitude that fosters positive interactions. Familiarity with retail sales transactions and upselling techniques is advantageous. Ability to maintain cleanliness standards in both front-of-house and kitchen areas.
