Job Summary:
The Experienced Line Cook plays a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for club members and guests. This position requires advanced cooking skills, strong kitchen awareness, and the ability to execute dishes with precision during high-volume service, banquets, and special events. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest culinary standards.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and plate menu items with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation Execute dishes across multiple stations with minimal supervision Set up, maintain, and break down assigned station efficiently for service Ensure all food meets the club's quality, flavor, and presentation standards Follow and uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Assist with advanced prep work, including sauces, proteins, and specialty items Support banquet and event execution, including large-scale and timed service Communicate clearly and professionally with chefs and fellow kitchen staff Assist in training and mentoring junior cooks as needed Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environmentQualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen Experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or private club environments preferred Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment Ability to work multiple stations and perform under pressure Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Food safety certification required (or ability to obtain promptly) Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements:
