This energetic role offers the opportunity to craft authentic Indian dishes, including flavorful tandoori meats, curries, and vegetarian options, in a lively restaurant environment. Your expertise will contribute to our reputation for delicious, high-quality Indian cuisine, all while working in a supportive and dynamic kitchen atmosphere. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes with an emphasis on Tandoori specialties, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as tandoor ovens, grills, and food prep stations safely and efficiently. Follow recipes meticulously to ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation across all menu items. Manage food safety protocols by adhering to sanitizing procedures, proper food handling practices, and maintaining a clean work environment. Participate in food production for high-volume service periods while maintaining quality standards. Support dietary department needs by preparing special dietary meals or accommodating specific dietary restrictions as required. Experience Proven food preparation experience within Indian cuisine. Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment essential for efficient meal prep. Experience with food safety management practices, including sanitizing procedures and HACCP principles. Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and food industry standards necessary for delivering consistent quality. Prior experience working in restaurant settings with fast-paced service demands is desirable. Pay:
