PM Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Cook to join our team at a recuperative care facility serving up to 48 patients. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and passionate about preparing nutritious meals in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve daily meals (LUNCH
AND DINNER
) for up to 48 patients in a timely, safe, and sanitary manner. Create balanced, health-conscious menus tailored to patient needs. Track and manage weekly/monthly food inventory and supply budgets. Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Adapt to full-time, part-time, or on-call shifts as needed. Work collaboratively with staff and communicate effectively with the care team. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and manage kitchen operations effectively. Clean and maintain equipment. Clean Dining Area, Clean Kitchen, Fridges, Freezer, and Pantries.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare, institutional, or high-volume setting. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and safety standards. Experience with budgeting and supply planning. Ability to create and adjust menus based on dietary needs and available resources. Highly motivated and able to work independently. ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred. Why Join Us?
