Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food preparation tools Maintain food safety and sanitizing procedures rigorously to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal modifications as required. Participate in high-volume production tasks, ensuring timely delivery of quality meals during busy service periods. Handle food safely during all stages of preparation, storage, and service, following strict food handling guidelines. Skills Proven dietary aide experience or background in dietary department settings. Strong culinary skills including poaching, braising, grilling, and general food preparation techniques. Extensive knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment with safety awareness. Background in food service or restaurant operations with a focus on high-volume production. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in food handling across diverse cuisines. Familiarity with catering processes and fine dining standards is a plus.
