In this role, you'll be a key player in preparing delicious, high-quality meals in a lively kitchen setting. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, and ensuring all dishes meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to memorable dining experiences. Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes and safety standards. Assist with meal prep by slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and other appliances. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed throughout food handling and preparation. Support the kitchen team during service hours by ensuring timely food production and presentation. Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus, manage inventory, and adhere to recipe specifications for consistent quality. Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly desirable. Knowledge of food industry standards including safety procedures, food handling, and sanitation practices. Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering operations enhances your effectiveness in this role. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across dishes. Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently is preferred. Culinary experience that includes knife skills, slicing techniques, and food safety management will set you apart.
