If you have any questions or would like to interview, we'd be happy to meet with you! Pizza Cook Job Summary We're looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is passionate about preparing high-quality food, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. Pay is dependent on experience. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn and grow in the kitchen. This position requires flexibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to assist wherever needed to ensure the success of the entire kitchen operation. Responsibilities Prepare, stretch, top, and bake a variety of pizzas according to recipes and quality standards. Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients for daily service. Maintain consistency in portioning, presentation, and cooking times. Operate pizza ovens, mixers, slicers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations. Rotate and label products using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing deliveries. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely ticket completion. Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties. Help with prep work and production for other areas of the kitchen as needed. Work as a team player and willingly assist on other stations—including grill, sauté, fry, pantry, prep, dishwashing, or banquet production—whenever business demands require it. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a respectful, professional work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager. Qualifications Previous experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or in a high-volume kitchen preferred. Knowledge of pizza dough preparation, baking techniques, and ingredient handling. Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. Must be a team player with a willingness to cross-train and assist in multiple kitchen stations. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy service periods. Strong communication and organizational skills. Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow recipes and standardized procedures with attention to detail. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
