Our convent is located at 1315 Enfield Street, Enfield . Full-time Cook for the following schedule: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Shifts vary: Days (6:00

General Summary:
The Cook's primary responsibility is to prepare food in accordance with established menus, recipes, and sanitary standards. This position ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local food service standards as well as the organization's policies and procedures. Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment. We believe care partners in all departments should be able to engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day. We recognize that teamwork and maintaining partnerships among all departments are critical factors toward achieving sister satisfaction and attaining a thriving living and working environment.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of food service or restaurant experience (working in a commercial or institutional food service environment is a PLUS). Experience in an Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, hospital or other healthcare environment is preferred but not required. SERV Safe certification preferred. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
