This is a high-volume kitchen led directly by our English chef-owner, serving a British pub menu built around quality ingredients, consistent execution, and food prepared with care. Line Cooks will work closely with the chef and kitchen leadership team to execute dishes accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong standards for organization, cleanliness, food safety, and presentation. We are looking for cooks who take pride in their work, communicate well, and can keep pace during busy services. As a Line Cook, You Will Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service Work efficiently during high-volume lunch, dinner, weekend, event, and late-night services Communicate clearly with fellow cooks, chefs, servers, and other team members Complete prep work accurately and maintain appropriate par levels for your station Monitor food quality, freshness, temperatures, and proper storage throughout each shift Follow proper food handling, sanitation, allergen, and cross-contamination procedures Rotate, label, date, and store food according to established standards Assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining kitchen organization as needed Maintain kitchen equipment and immediately communicate maintenance or safety concerns Complete opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities Support the rest of the kitchen team wherever needed during service Requirements Previous line cook experience in a full-service restaurant, pub, hotel, or comparable kitchen preferred High-volume kitchen experience strongly preferred Strong knife skills and familiarity with standard commercial kitchen equipment Working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, sanitation, and food safety Ability to follow recipes and execute dishes consistently Strong organization and time-management skills Ability to communicate and work effectively as part of a kitchen team Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain composure during busy services ServSafe Food Handler certification or ability to obtain required certification Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, bend, and work in a commercial kitchen environment Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee discount Paid training Sign On Bonus Paid after first 90 days and 180 days EOE - We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
