Join Marriott as a Cook II at Ridley's Porch, supporting our renowned hospitality experience. In this role, you'll prepare and cook menu items to brand and safety standards, execute recipes with consistency, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. You will assist with prep, station setup, and timely service during busy periods while collaborating closely with chefs and service teams. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to Marriott recipes and standards Set up, stock, and break down assigned stations for each service period Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment Assist with ingredient prep, batch cooking, and inventory rotation Coordinate timing with culinary and service teams for smooth service Check quality, taste, and presentation of dishes before service Properly store, label, and handle food to minimize waste Support training of junior kitchen staff as directed by supervisors Follow Marriott policies, safety procedures, and brand standards Required Skills Food preparation Hot and cold line cooking Knife skills Recipe and portion control Food safety and sanitation (HACCP) Kitchen equipment operation Station setup and breakdown Batch cooking and prep Time management in high-volume service Basic baking and roasting techniques
