Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Previous experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry is highly valued, along with excellent knife skills and culinary expertise. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and food presentation to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times Support meal preparation for various service settings, including catering events if applicable Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle food with care, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining professional conduct Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation is preferred Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with catering services and serving protocols is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required Join our team to showcase your culinary talents while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
