Job Description

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Follow procedures in the process of cooking and creating candies such as weighing, shaping, processing, dipping, and preparing for packaging candy products according to Dillon's production processes and recipes. Scale, stage and assemble candies or ingredients for manufacturing, packaging or shipping. Maintain quality and consistency of product during all processes by operating equipment, checking instruments, following Dillon procedures and reporting issues. Setup, work on, and maintain various candy production line equipment and packaging machinery within a team environment utilizing Good Manufacturing Practices in keeping with Dillon's safety guidelines, standards, and procedures. Perform start-up/shut-down sanitation and clean up. Store goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse. Monitoring the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks. Ensures that work areas and equipment are clean, organized and adhere to the applicable food safety, health, and safety standards. Document actions by completing production and quality forms. Perform other duties as directed by supervision. Check and Adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and work reporting times. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and food safety requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 3 months experience in production of the food industry desired Must be at least 18 years old Basic math skills
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to act and communicate as a member of a highly functioning candy manufacturing team and must be held accountable to line efficiency. Ability to stand for extended period of time, work non-traditional hours, and lift 60 pounds, or shared lifting of 100 pounds. Capable of adapting to change and working in a fast pace, high demand environment.
