Join Our Kitchen Team Anaina Hou Community Park is looking for a dependable, experienced Cook to join our kitchen team in Kilauea. In this role, you'll work closely with our Executive Chef and kitchen team to prepare fresh, high-quality food for daily operations and special events. What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications Prep ingredients for daily service and special events Help ensure food is prepared efficiently and presented with care Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace Work closely with the kitchen team to provide timely, high-quality food service Monitor inventory and properly label, store, and rotate food Assist with ordering kitchen supplies as needed Properly use, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment Help set up and break down food service areas Follow food safety, sanitation, health, and kitchen procedures Pitch in with other kitchen duties as needed to keep operations running smoothly What We're Looking For 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant, catering, or event environment preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation practices Ability to follow recipes and consistently prepare a variety of dishes Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain certification; training can be provided if needed Reliable transportation to Kilauea, HI 96754 Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to successfully complete a background check Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and navigate the Anaina Hou Community Park campus during daily operations and events.
