About Our Practice We practice progressive, workup-based medicine with an emphasis on diagnostics, thoughtful case management, and excellent client communication. Our hospital is well equipped with: Full IDEXX in-house and reference laboratory capabilities Digital radiography and dental radiography In-clinic ultrasound Advanced anesthesia monitoring and electrocautery Vetspire with integrated AI scribe Visiting specialists providing advanced surgery, ultrasound, echocardiography, ophthalmology, and dermatology Veterinary medicine on Kauaʻi is uniquely rewarding. With no 24/7 emergency hospital or full-time specialists on island, our doctors have the opportunity to practice hands-on medicine and manage a broader range of cases than they might in a referral-heavy environment. Who We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys clinical independence while being part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Our ideal candidate:

Is currently licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the United States Is confident managing a varied small-animal caseload Enjoys diagnostics and thorough medical workups Is comfortable with routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, including extractions Communicates well with clients and teammates Is adaptable, dependable, and enjoys practicing in a small, close-knit community Emergency procedures, ultrasound, and advanced anesthesia experience are a plus. Applicants must currently hold an active U.S. veterinary license, be eligible to obtain Hawaiʻi veterinary licensure prior to their start date, and be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration assistance. Schedule & Compensation We're seeking a full-time associate but are equally interested in hearing from experienced veterinarians looking for a consistent part-time opportunity. Whether you're interested in building a long-term career on Kauaʻi or transitioning into a slower-paced lifestyle while continuing to practice, we're open to finding an arrangement that works well for everyone. We offer competitive compensation with ProSal opportunities. Actual compensation will depend on experience, clinical and surgical capabilities, schedule, and individual production. Highly productive associates have earned over $200,000 annually at our practice. We're a small, family-owned practice, and finding the right person matters to us.
