The Food Services Cook must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. The Food Services Cook must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission's Statement of Faith.
Job Summary:
The Food Service Worker will provide daily food preparation for guests, programmers, and members of the community. This also includes proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and cleanliness of the kitchen and all equipment.

  • We have multiple facilities located in both Boise and Nampa. Hours
  • full time (40 hours per week)

of 30 hours/ week)
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to read and follow instructions. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment. Basic computer skills
  • Capable of operating Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
) Detail-oriented and good organizational skills Capable of working as a part of a team
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Food Handlers' Certification needed
  • can obtain on the job Prolonged periods standing and preparing and cooking food.
Must be able to access and navigate all areas of facility. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. May be required to work in excessive heat and cold in association with the kitchen environment.
