Job Summary Hiring immediately !!! Join our vibrant Assisted Living Community as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will directly enhance the daily lives of our residents. In this role, you will assist in meal service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. Dishes , plating , etc Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a warm, home-like atmosphere that promotes health, happiness, and well-being for our residents.   • 6:30pm Duties Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring menus meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
Serve meals with professionalism and warmth, providing excellent food service that emphasizes hospitality and respect. Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety protocols. Support kitchen operations through food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients using knife skills and culinary techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen equipment, and food storage spaces to uphold health standards. Collaborate with dietary team members to cater to special dietary needs or restrictions for individual residents. Participate in inventory management by organizing supplies and assisting with ordering or restocking as needed. Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred, with familiarity in menu planning and food preparation. Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous, demonstrating strong food service skills. Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper handling, sanitation, and storage procedures. Culinary experience involving cooking techniques, knife skills, and meal presentation is highly desirable. Background in the food industry or kitchen environment that emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail. Familiarity with catering or large-scale food service operations can be beneficial for supporting community events or special occasions.
