- Experience in the food service industry, in a upscale restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong knife skills for food preparation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to adapt to changing menus and dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and portion control
- Passion for the food industry and a desire to create delicious dishes
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Experience with saute and grill
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
