The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the development of new menu items and specials. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed. Skills Proficient in meal preparation techniques with experience in the food industry. Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail when preparing dishes. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
