Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with attention to detail, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, sauté stations, braising pans, poaching equipment, and knives. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations following food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests. Assist in menu planning by executing daily specials and supporting the development of new dishes aligned with culinary standards. Handle food production tasks such as food handling, portioning, garnishing, and plating to ensure consistency and quality. Collaborate with team members during high-volume service periods to ensure timely meal delivery without compromising quality or safety. This role requires consistently arriving on time and maintaining the daily schedule without delays Experience Proven food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment, with a strong background in fine dining or high-volume production settings. Demonstrated proficiency in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods. Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely while maintaining food safety management practices. Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling standards are essential for success in this role. Previous culinary experience involving recipe adherence, meal preparation, and food safety protocols is highly valued. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
