Job Overview Pizza Cook Wanted! We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will take pride in preparing quality food, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and helping provide our guests with a great dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare pizzas according to recipes, portion sizes, and customer orders Prepare and portion pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings Stretch, shape, top, and bake pizzas to order Ensure pizzas are cooked properly and meet quality standards Prepare other menu items as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pizza station Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper food storage Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Keep equipment and work areas clean throughout the shift Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders Assist with restocking and kitchen prep as needed Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and freshness Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and customer satisfaction Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed Contribute to creating a positive dining experience through professional service and presentation Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, preferably within the culinary or food industry Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, kitchen safety, and proper food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Restaurant experience will be considered an asset Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and dedicated to delivering exceptional pizza dishes.
