Job Description

Prep / Line Cook Blue Mash Golf Course | Seasonal, Part-Time Blue Mash Golf Course is looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep / Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a seasonal, part-time position supporting daily golf course operations, including the clubhouse kitchen, turn service, outings, and special events. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and is comfortable assisting with both food preparation and line cooking. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep according to recipes and kitchen standards Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently during service Assist with setup, breakdown, and execution of golf outings and special events Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards Properly store, label, and rotate food and ingredients Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures Assist other kitchen team members as needed to ensure smooth service Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams Help maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to management Qualifications Previous restaurant, catering, or kitchen experience preferred, but not required Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Positive attitude and willingness to learn Schedule & Employment Part-time, seasonal position Schedule will vary based on golf course operations, weather, events, and business volume Availability for weekends and holidays is preferred Because golf course operations are weather-dependent, hours may fluctuate throughout the season The position is seasonal due to the nature of the golf business; seasonal employment does not necessarily mean the end of your relationship with Blue Mash Golf Course Employees who perform well and remain in good standing may have the opportunity to return for employment at the beginning of the following spring season What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible part-time scheduling Fast-paced but team-oriented work environment Opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume golf and events operation Potential opportunity for continued seasonal employment in future seasons Opportunities to work golf outings, tournaments, and special events If you're dependable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a kitchen environment, we'd love to hear from you and have you join the Blue Mash team.
