Here at FELC, it is our mission to provide children with opportunities for Christ-centered spiritual, cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development in a nurturing environment. This position will be full-time Monday-Friday. 6:30-2:00pm Cook Responsibilities Able to lift 40 lbs. Self-motivator Ensure all meals are following state licensing guidelines, and meet all health code guidelines. Prepare foods of consistent quality according to the recipe, including all special requests. Adjusts thermostat controls to regulate temperature of the oven. Control food waste and usage Responds promptly with director about substitutions and changes in menu Communicates menu concerns, and prepares food list daily Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen Report equipment and kitchen issues to director promptly Cook Requirements High School Diploma Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities Adaptable to change
