Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook or Fry Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. But we are also willing to train. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be adept at preparing delicious fried dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods including French fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, and fish
- Operate deep fryers and other kitchen equipment in a safe manner
- Ensure food quality meets the restaurant's standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill customer orders promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Adhere to food safety regulations and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with menu planning and execution
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with kitchen tools including knives and fryers
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
