Part-Time Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain assigned work station. Prepare all menu items when ordered according to established recipes, portions, and presentation standards. Prepare sauces and accompanying garnishes for assigned station. Prepare and serve food items within established portion and presentation standards. Notify the Sous Chef of anticipated food or product shortages. Ensure assigned work area and equipment are clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift. Maintain a neat, professional appearance and observe all personal cleanliness and food-safety standards. Properly set up, maintain, and break down work station. Adhere to all state and local health and safety regulations. Store food properly and ensure all items are labeled and dated. Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning, and/or marinating. Clean and sanitize work station and equipment regularly and at the end of each shift. Maintain a sanitary and organized work area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection ovens, flat-top ranges, and refrigeration equipment. Assist the Sous Chef and kitchen team with additional duties as assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.
