Job Description
Come help lead our Early Childhood Ministry at gracespring Bible Church! At gracespring Bible Church in Richland, Michigan, we long for even our youngest kids to know they are loved by Jesus—and we are looking for someone who shares that passion! The Early Childhood Ministry Coordinator helps people take a step closer to Jesus by creating a safe, welcoming, and spiritually engaging ministry experience for children from Nursery through Pre-K while equipping volunteers and partnering with parents along the way. Working alongside the gsKIDZ Director, this part-time role takes ownership of the day-to-day Early Childhood ministry experience, helping turn ministry vision and curriculum into an excellent Sunday environment where young children can begin learning what it means to follow Jesus. In this role, you will: Provide hands-on guidance for our Nursery through Pre-K ministry during weekend services Lead, equip, encourage, and care for Early Childhood volunteers and check-in teams Implement weekly curriculum and prepare classrooms, supplies, and resources for engaging, age-appropriate ministry Create safe, welcoming, organized environments where children and families feel known and cared for Build meaningful relationships with parents and help equip them as the primary spiritual influence in their child's life Partner closely with the gsKIDZ Director to strengthen the Early Childhood ministry and continually improve the experience for kids, families, and volunteers We are looking for someone who: Has a deep love for Jesus and a passion for helping young children and families follow Him Loves building relationships with kids, parents, and volunteers Can lead and develop volunteers with encouragement, clarity, and care Is organized and dependable and enjoys turning plans into excellent ministry experiences Creates a warm, hospitable environment where new and existing families feel welcomed and supported Works well as part of a team and can faithfully carry out the vision and direction of the gsKIDZ Director Believes ministry is about relationships and discipleship, not simply running programs Work perks: When you join the gracespring team, you join a group of people who are passionate about God, and enjoy working, laughing, praying, and eating together.
