Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and organized Culinary Production Cook to support our culinary production team. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients and food items according to recipes, production needs, and established food safety standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, can follow recipes accurately, stays organized, and works efficiently while maintaining quality and food safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare food and ingredients for daily culinary production. Slice, cut, portion, and prepare meats, proteins, vegetables, and other ingredients. Safely handle and cut raw chicken and other raw proteins. Read and accurately follow recipes and production instructions. Prepare items such as soups, pasta salads, chicken salads, and other prepared foods. Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes and production requirements. Follow established cooking procedures and required cooking temperatures. Follow USDA food safety, handling, and cooking requirements. Maintain proper separation and handling of raw and ready-to-eat foods. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Properly label, date, store, and rotate ingredients and prepared products. Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules and deadlines. Communicate ingredient shortages, quality concerns, or production issues to leadership. Follow all GMP, sanitation, personal hygiene, and food safety requirements. Assist with additional culinary production duties as needed. Qualifications Previous prep cook, kitchen, food production, or similar experience preferred. Ability to read and follow recipes and written instructions. Basic knowledge of safe food handling and cooking temperatures. Comfortable handling raw meat and poultry. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality. Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a production team. Schedule Full-time, approximately 8 hours per day. Early morning start, approximately 6:00 a.m. Hours may vary based on production needs. What We're Looking For Someone who is dependable, organized, works with a sense of urgency, follows directions, and takes food safety seriously. This role requires someone who can keep pace with production while consistently following recipes and established culinary standards.
