The Cook/Prep Cook supports food and beverage or culinary operations through service, preparation, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, food safety, cash handling where assigned, and brand standards. Key Duties and Responsibilities Set up work areas and prepare food according to brand standards and guest requests Prepare food for guests, events, meetings, breakfast, or property service needs Use strong cooking safety practices and proper kitchen techniques Follow safe food and workplace guidelines Maintain a sanitary environment and organized work area Know and understand brand food and beverage selections Assist with dish machine operation by washing, sanitizing, and putting away dishes when needed Keep kitchen work areas clean, stocked, and organized Replenish items as needed throughout the shift Communicate food quality, equipment, or supply concerns to leadership General Expectations Adhere to company policies, standards, procedures, and property-specific expectations Extend professionalism to guests, residents, customers, clients, vendors, and associates Be proactive, prompt, dependable, and attentive to detail Act with integrity, demonstrate teamwork, and maintain the spirit to serve Maintain a clean, professional appearance and be in uniform as assigned Understand and follow basic safety, security, and emergency procedures Support a culturally diverse workplace and comply with applicable Federal and State laws Assist in other departments or property-specific tasks as business needs require Maintain sanitary conditions and follow safe food, beverage, and alcohol service expectations applicable to the role Who Are You?
