Job Description
Rise, shine, and sizzle! The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Breakfast Cook to work with our food and beverage team at $22-$25 hourly DOE. As our Breakfast Cook, you will dominate our morning rush. Looking to work in a lakefront restaurant & resort cooking for regular locals and visitors from all over? PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE
As a Breakfast Cook you will be responsible for stocking and setting up the station. You will prepare food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. You will cook food items by grilling, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards. Additionally, you maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Taking directions from supervisor and retaining information received. Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations Preparing food includes cleaning and cutting the ingredients, cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks. Plate prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time. Ensure all equipment is kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs. Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking equipment at the end of work shifts. Understand and follow all regulations that pertain to health and safety.SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
Knowledge of Food and Beverage, Local and State Food Handling laws and procedures. Must be organized and detailed oriented. Must be a strong team player with a hospitality first mindset. Desire to provide phenomenal guest experiences, a passion for quality, and attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to foster cooperation. Ability to build strong relationships and work with a team of culinary professionalsQUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION
Preference for a previous cooking experienceEXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant or related field as an asset.
