Starting at $10 per hour with room to grow

Training Pay:

$30 per training shift

We are a small, fast-growing vegan Caribbean street food business specializing in authentic Trinidadian dishes. We take pride in quality, consistency, and creating a memorable customer experience at markets, pop-ups, and events. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Cook to assist with food preparation, light cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients according to recipes and instructions Assemble menu items and assist with basic cooking and frying Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Help pack food and supplies for markets and events Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Requirements:

Possess ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain certification Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Friendly, positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting
