This is a cook position at an assisted living facility. We have 30 patients with a strict menu as well as specialized diet plans. This is a Monday to Thursday position that does breakfast, lunch and dinner, with long breaks between meals. Covenant Care is looking for a high quality employee that is invested in their career an is looking for something more permanent with great staff and owners. Requirements:

Have a current TB skin test, and a copy of a previous one. Complete a Drug test Be in good standing with NC state regulations Have reliable transportation to work Will need to complete a criminal record check Be highly reliable and able to communicate These requirements should be completed and paperwork should be summited in a reasonable amount of time after interview and follow-up phone call. Responsibilities Prep food in a timely manor in order to serve at scheduled meal time as well as time to clean after each meal Cook based one a strict menu with specialized diet plans Keep Kitchen clean and up to sanitary standards for an Assisted Living Keep kitchen organized and be prepared for each meal making sure the proper supplies are in the kitchen for each meal before hand.
