Job Description

Line Cook Hours 6:30am
  • 2:30pm Wednesday through Sunday
  • Morning/Daytime shifts!

We encourage people in recovery from substance use and those with previous lived experience with the justice system to apply. This is a safe, stable, recovery friendly workplace initiative providing a substance and alcohol free environment and supports for individuals in recovery and those with past or current criminal justice involvement. We are led by a 501c3 Non-profit organization providing supports for people with lived experience with drug use, recovery and a history of criminal justice involvement by those with lived experience.
Duties:
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with catering events as needed
  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
