Responsibilities:
Prepare foods to be served according to the daily menu; Follow state guidelines of proper meal accountability; Clean the kitchen, serving, storage and dining areas following state health regulations; Follow all sanitation procedures in accordance with rules and regulations of the Department of Health and Sanitation; Report to the Cafeteria Manager any equipment problems; Follow instructions for the safe, proper and efficient use of all kitchen equipment; Coordinate with the Cafeteria Manager all food and supply orders; Coordinate with the Cafeteria Manager the quantities of food to be prepared according to state regulations; Coordinate with the Cafeteria Manager the portion size of foods served in the cafeteria according to state regulations; Reports to the Cafeteria Manager any problem or accident occurring in the kitchen or the cafeteria premises; Confers with the Cafeteria Manager regarding any personnel problems; Perform other duties which may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or Principal(s). Duties may be delegated where appropriate.
