This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently in a quiet, focused environment. You will be responsible for managing your own production schedule, maintaining consistency, and delivering high‑quality baked goods nightly. You will be a valued member of our team and this role is essential to our operation. Key Responsibilities Prepare, mix, and bake products entirely from scratch. Produce high‑quality breakfast pastries including hand‑rolled croissants, muffins, scones, cookies, tarts/pies, seasonal desserts, bagels, and donuts . Maintain consistency, accuracy, and speed during overnight production. Operate commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, and mixers. Manage time efficiently to complete nightly production goals. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food‑safety standards. Work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Cook in a bakery, pastry shop, restaurant, or similar setting. Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and recipe scaling for yeasted and chemically leavened products. Ability to produce high‑quality pastries, breads, and desserts with consistent results. Knowledge of vegan and gluten‑free baking is a major plus. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail. Excellent time‑management and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and reliability. Must be able to work Wednesday-Sunday, 12AM-7AM. Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Must be seasoned without the need for supervision, or training on dough / baking skills. Requirements Speed, efficiency, and strong work ethic. Self‑motivation and comfort working with little to no supervision. Commitment to producing high‑quality products in both taste and presentation. Consistency and reliability—this is the most important part of the role. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures.
